Welcome

Welcome, this site will be devoted to providing information about the ongoing maintenance issues that take place at The Creek Club . As this site is developed, content will be added that demonstrates things that range from course care to comprehensive details about agronomic procedures. I hope that this will become a useful tool in communicating things that are taking place on the golf course. I will try to use the blog to explain how and why we do some of the things we do on the golf course.

Aerification and Dry inject Greens profile

The last two weeks have been very labor intensive for the staff.  They have really worked hard! May 1st we completed our 1/2 inch 2"X2" Core Aerification on all greens.  Turf Dynamic came in  may 7th and Dry injected the Greens.  The process went really well we were able to injected 20 tons of sand into our greens. Approx 450 lbs per 1000 sq ft @ a 3"x3" Spacing.  The staff had to a lot of heavy lifting to keep up with their three machines.when you do the math 12 guys each lifted about 3,333 lbs of  Kiln dried  bagged sand.
