Welcome
Welcome, this site will be devoted to providing information about the ongoing maintenance issues that take place at The Creek Club . As this site is developed, content will be added that demonstrates things that range from course care to comprehensive details about agronomic procedures. I hope that this will become a useful tool in communicating things that are taking place on the golf course. I will try to use the blog to explain how and why we do some of the things we do on the golf course.

Roots are still looking good for now even with this high heat and humidity.

The past 10 days a high pressure system has been sitting over the southeast pumping extreme heat and humidity into our region. We have had 10 days in a row of 92 to 97 degree temperatures. In order to preserve and protect our bentgrass putting greens I have raised the height of cut. We are closely monitoring soil moisture levels, hand watering daily, run fans 24 hours a day and syringing when needed. We will continue to spray preventatively for increased disease pressure.
